Parcus Pin Pack (English)
1. Indications:
Parcus Pin Packs contain Parcus Drill Tip Guide Pins and Nitinol Guide Wires. Drill Tip Guide pins are
used to aid in the guidance of cannulated drills and reamers. Drill Tip Guide Pins with Suture Eyelets
can be effectively used to assist in the passing of suture. Parcus Nitinol Guide Wires are used to aid in
the placement of cannulated interference screws.
2. Warnings:
A. Caution: Federal Law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
B. This product is designed for single use only and should not be re-sterilized. Devices that are
reused can fatigue and break.
C. Never use a bent Guide Pin or Wire.
D. This product is not intended for use as an implant.
E. Loading the Drill Tip Guide Pin or Guide Wire in an off axis manner may result in breakage or
bending.
3. Material:
These devices are manufactured from a Stainless Steel Alloy and from Nitinol Per ASTM 2063. The
materials used in the manufacture of these devices that are intended to be placed inside the body are
radio-opaque and can, therefore, be detected with conventional X-Ray or fluoroscopy.
4. Sterilization:
The Pin Pack is provided in sterile packaging. The contents are sterilized by EO gas. This product
must never be re-sterilized.
5. Packaging and Labeling:
A. Do not use this product if the packaging or labeling has been damaged, shows signs of exposure to
moisture or extreme temperature or has been altered in any way.
B. Please contact Parcus Medical Customer Service to report any package damage or alterations.
6. Storage:
Products must be stored in the original unopened package in a dry place and must not be used
beyond the expiration date indicated on the package.
7. Instructions for use:
A. Drill Tip Guide Pin
a. Using a purpose designed drill or wire driver, drill the guide pin into the desired position.
b. Place cannulated drill or reamer with an appropriately sized cannulation over guide pin.
c. Drill or ream over guide pin ensuring to maintain a coaxial orientation with guide pin.
d. Remove drill or reamer from pin.
e. If using to pass suture; drill through bone, pass suture through eyelet, pull pin with attached
suture through bone.

Remove and dispose of pin
B. Nitinol Guide Wire
a. Position graft in tunnel or socket in the preferred manner.
b. Place guide wire in desired position.
c. Place cannulated interference screw over guide wire.
d. Engage cannulated screw driver with screw and turn screw into desired position.
e. Remove driver.
f.
Remove and dispose of wire.
