d) Inserting/Changing the Luminaire
• The insertion/replacement of the luminaire (not enclosed, can be ordered separately) is only
admissible when free of voltage/powered down. Turn off the power on all poles of the mains
supply by removing the respective electric circuit fuse or switching off the circuit breaker
and then deactivating the associated fault circuit interrupter. Protect it from unauthorised re-
activation, e.g. with a danger sign.
• Only a luminaire with a maximum output of 500 W must be used. When operating the product
with a luminaire with a higher output, there is a danger of fire; the product is also damaged;
loss of warranty/guarantee!
• Before a (defective) luminaire is replaced, the product (and the luminaire) must cool off com-
pletely. Otherwise, there is danger of burns!
• If a halogen rod is used as a luminaire, never touch it with bare hands. Traces of grease on the
fingers may cause material changes of the halogen rod glass due to the great heat.
This material change may cause the luminaire to burst.
• Before commissioning, the front cover must be applied and attached again correctly.
