WARNING!
It is necessary to apply the bracket to ground the work
grids.
The downdraft table can be positioned using:
- a fork-lift truck (preferred way); or
- a pallet truck (downdraft table has to be tilted); or
- cargo lashings lifted by a fork-lift truck (refer to Fig. I on page
100)
CAUTION!
Do not position the product where it is exposed to
vibrations or heat radiation from heat sources.
Observe the earlier described ambient conditions.
•
Position the downdraft table against the wall.
•
If necessary, use the adjusting feet to level the downdraft
table and to adjust it to the desired height (min. 920 mm -
max. 970 mm/36-38 in.) (refer to Fig. II on page 100).

Electric connection
CAUTION!
Make sure that the system is suitable for connection to
the local mains. Information about the connection
voltage and frequency can be found on the
identification plate.
The cables must be connected in conformance with the
local rules and regulations and can only be carried out
by well qualified and authorised technicians.

Connection to the mains
ATTENTION!
Electric connection only to be performed by well
qualified and authorized technicians.
ATTENTION!
Plugs/connections to be installed in accordance with
the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local
requirements.
The downdraft table can by connected to mains by:
- 3~ plug (earthed); or
- directly to the power supply
•
Connect the mains cord to the mains.
4.5.3 Sense of rotation
Check the sense of rotation of the fan.
•
Turn on the main switch.
•
Push the
button to switch on the fan.
ON
•
Push the
button to switch off the fan.
OFF
•
Wait 10 seconds.
•
Open the left door.
WARNING!
Do not open the door within 10 seconds after
switching off the fan. Keep your hands away from the
fan wheel.
The motor contains a sticker indicating the correct sense of
rotation.
•
Check the sense of rotation during the slow-down period of
the fan.
•
Turn off the main switch.
•
Disconnect the downdraft table from the mains.
•
If necessary: change the connection of the phases.

Turn on the main switch (A).

button (C) to switch on the fan.

Start welding/grinding.

After finishing welding/grinding, push the
switch off the fan.

During use, regularly check the pressure gauge (B). When
the pressure reaches 1400 Pa, the filter cartridges need to
be replaced.
