-
Place the holder with the bag inside the separator. Make sure that the holder reaches the bottom and remains in a vertical
position.
-
Reassemble the cover of the recuperator. Place the cover unit with the nut, ensuring that the O-ring is in its correct
position, and screw on the cover until it reaches its final position. It is recommended to lubricate the join with silicone and
remove any dirt from the mouth of the separator.
-
Once the cover is in its final position, check that the safety bolt projects out from the stop so that the cover does not becom
accidentally loose.
6.- MAINTENANCE
Do not use solvents nor powder detergents to clean the separator, as they could damage or scratch the surfaces. It is
recommended to use a damp cloth with water.
Replace all worn parts and joints as necessary.
Lubricate joints with silicone so that they operate correctly and do not deteriorate.
7.- WINTER STORAGE
At the end of the season, it is advisable to empty the separator so that its components do not deteriorate. To do this, follow
these steps:
-
Isolate the separator from the rest of the installation by closing the corresponding valves.
-
Open the air purge to eliminate inside pressure.
-
Open the water purge to empty the separator.
-
Once the separator is empty, remove the upper cover. Unscrew the nut of the cover. To do this operation, lift the safety
lever which is under the nut.
-
Undo the fastening cord of the bag in the holder.
-
Remove the bag with the D.E.
-
Dispose of the D.E.
-
Clean inside the separator removing all dirt.
-
Clean the bag with a water hose, if necessary.
-
Keep the bag in a dry place protected from frost.
-
Cover the separator with a bag to protect it from water and sun.
-
It is also advisable to empty all pipes to prevent them from cracking in the event of frost.
8.- TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Little water flow.
The pressure gauge swings.
9.- SAFETY WARNINGS
-
Do not connect the system to the water mains, as the pressure could be very high and exceed the maximum
working pressure of the separator.
-
Protect the separator from frost.
-
Before handling the separator, ensure that the pump is off and the separator is without pressure.
-
Lubricate joints with silicone before assembly.
-
ALWAYS purge the air from the separator before starting a cycle.
-
DO NOT EXCEED 3.5 (50 PSI) BARS OF PRESSURE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
