• Danger of burns! The raclette device will become very hot during use and afterwards!
When setting up the raclette device, ensure that you select a location with enough
clearance all round the device.
• Always place the hot stone into the recess in the middle of the raclette plate if you do
not wish to use the fondue set. This will prevent any fats and liquids from being able
to drip onto the heating elements.
• Always insert the receptacle for the fondue pot into the raclette grill plate before you
place the fondue pot onto the raclette grill plate. Without the receptacle, it is not pos-
sible to guarantee that the pot can be held in place securely.
• Be careful when taking out the little raclette pans or fondue forks in order to prevent burns.
• Keep sharp or pointy objects away from the surface of the little raclette pans and the
raclette grill plate. Such objects could damage the coating! You should therefore use
the wooden spatulas which are supplied or other kitchen utensils made from wood or
heat-resistant plastic.
• We recommend that you only season the ingredients after you have prepared them
on the raclette device as the herbs and spices can burn if they get too hot and this
may cause smoke to be produced.
• Do not leave any empty little pans sitting on the raclette plate of the heated device.
1. Place the raclette device on a stable, heat-resistant surface which is easy to clean.
2. Connect the device to a mains socket that has been properly installed. Ensure that it
is not possible for others to trip over the connected cable.
3. If you have not already done so, position the raclette grill plate correctly on the
raclette device.

4. If you do not wish to use the fondue set, place the hot stone
into the recess in the middle of the raclette grill plate. Make
sure that the smooth side of the stone with the groove is
facing upwards. To this end, follow the instructions in the
"Hot Stone" chapter.
If you wish to use the fondue set, leave the recess in the
middle of the grill plate clear during the heating-up phase.
5. Allow the raclette device to heat up for approximately
10 minutes without any little raclette pans or the fondue
pot before you use it. To do this, move the On/Off switch
to the 1 position to switch on the device.
6. Set the temperature controller to the highest setting for
10 minutes. The On/Off switch and the control lamp on
the temperature controller will light up when the device is
switched on.
7. In the meantime, prepare the ingredients for your raclette.
When fi lling up the little raclette pans, take care to ensure
that the food does not touch the heating elements of the
raclette device.
