• This device should not be used by people (including children)
with impaired sensory or mental faculties or who do not have
adequate experience and/or knowledge of such devices, unless
they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or
have received instructions from such a person on how to use
the device. Children must be supervised in order to ensure that
they do not play with the device.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused
by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts to re-
pair. The same applies for normal wear.

For Your Health
• There may still be some production residues on the device. To
prevent any health hazards, clean the raclette grill plate, the
little raclette pans, the wooden spatulas, the fondue pot and
the fondue forks thoroughly before you fi rst use them (see the
"Cleaning" chapter) and heat up the device for 15 minutes with-
out any food (see the "Before Initial Use" chapter).
• Clean the device before and after each use and keep it clean.
• Only prepare food that is suitable for cooking and eating.
The Correct Set-up of the Device
• Please keep children and pets out of the reach of the packaging
and the device. There is a danger of injury and suffocation!
• The device should only be used in closed rooms.
• Always place the device on a dry, fl at, fi rm, heat-resistant sur-
face with suffi cient clearance on all sides.
• Maintain suffi cient clearance from other sources of heat such
as hotplates or stoves in order to avoid damage to the device.
• In order to prevent electric shocks, place the device in a loca-
tion in which the raclette device, the mains cable and the plug
cannot come into contact with water or other liquids. Should the
device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately.
