Charging the battery (Fig. B & C)
Before the first use and when empty, the battery must be charged.
Always switch off the tool before installing or removing the battery!
Never recharge an already fully charged battery. Overcharging shortens the
battery service life.
Charge the battery with/at room temperature at 10°C – 40°C. Let a warm
battery cool down first before charging, e.g. directly after use.
• To remove the battery, push the button (24) and pull out the battery.
• To insert the battery, slide the battery along the guidance at the tool until the battery is
locked.
• Charge the battery before it is completely discharged.
• Always stop working with the chainsaw and charge the battery when the power is getting
less obviously.
• Charging time for empty battery is about 1 hour.
• The charging status is displayed by the LEDs of the charger. Follow the instructions for
charger for detailed information.
