7) ANL/NB ~ HI-CUT ~ M2
NB/ANL
(short press)
ANL: Automatic Noise Limiter / NB: Noise Blanker. These filters allow to
reduce the background noise and some receiving interferences. Each
short press turns in a loop: 1. ANL on / NB off • 2. ANL off / NB on • 3.
ANL and NB on • 4. ANL and NB off. When a filter is active its "ANL" or
"NB" icon is displayed.
In FM mode, only NB on and NB off. ANL is not displayed.
HI-CUT
(long press)
Hi-Cut: Suppression of high frequency interferences. To use according
to the receiving conditions. A short pressure activates the HI-CUT filter
and «HI-CUT» appears on the display. A new push disables the function
and «HI-CUT» disappears.

8) VOX ~ VOX SET ~ M1
VOX

The VOX function allows transmitting
microphone (or in the optional vox microphone) without pressing the
PTT switch (11). The use of an optional vox microphone connected to
the rear panel of the transceiver (D)
Press the VOX key (8) in order to
appears on the display. Press again the VOX key (8) to
function. "VOX" disappears.
VOX SET

1. Long press the VOX SET key (8) to
the current setting and its value appear on the display. Three param-
eters allow to adjust the VOX: Sensitivity L / Anti-vox level A / Vox delay
time t.
2a. Use the s/t key on the front panel or the UP/DN key (4) on the mi-
crophone to modify the current parameter then, press the VOX key
(8) to select the next parameter or....
2b. Press first the VOX key (8) to

ing noise. The level is adjustable. AF (according the squelch level) and
from 0 (without anti-vox) to 9 (low level). Default value: AF.
Delay time t: allows avoiding the sudden cut of the transmission by

adding a delay at the end of speaking. The level is adjustable from 1
(short delay) to 9 (long delay). Default value: 5.
VOX SETTING doesn't activate the VOX function.

9) AM/FM ~ LOCAL
AM/FM

This switch allows to select the modulation mode AM or FM.
Your modulation mode must correspond with the one of the person
you are speaking to.
AM/ Amplitude Modulation is for communications in areas where there
are obstacles and over medium distances.

FM/ Frequency Modulation is for nearby communications in flat, open
areas.

Allows to alternate the frequency bands CEPT and ENG in the U config-
uration. When the ENG frequency band is selected, «UK» is displayed.
LOCAL

This feature allows a better listening through close contact. When
your partner is close, press this button to avoid distortion.«LOCAL» is
displayed.
