knowledge and experience.

All appropriate safety regulations must be taken into account.

First read the Technical Service Documentation (TSD), then commence work.

A
Protective gloves should be worn and the edge protection (mat. no. 05057680) should be used.
Weighing plinth WI811-30, WI814-25, WI818-25 installation
A
Secure the plinth to the floor with the fittings supplied or with other suitable fittings. Use the spacers (1) to align the
plinth, see Fig. 1.

Remove the front panel from the washing machine, see model-specific TSD.
A
Remove the back panel from the washing machine, see model-specific TSD.
A
Route the cable for the emergency drain through the subframe from the front to the back and clamp it in place as it
is at the front of the subframe.
A
Unscrew the washing machine feet. The feet are no longer required.
There is a sliding switch (1) on the weighing electronics AD103C board, see Fig. 2. The sliding switch must point to
position 1. The weighing electronics cannot be signed into the washing machine's electronics if the switch is pointing
to position 0.

Place the washing machine on the weighing plinth.
A
Secure the washing machine on the weighing plinth at all 4 corners, in each case with 1 bracket (1), 2 M6 x 25 bolts,
1 M6 nut and 3 B 6.4 washers from the anchoring accessory pack, see Fig. 3.

Fit the edge protection (1) in the rectangular cutout in the weighing plinth, see Fig. 4.
A
Pull the wiring harness through the opening in the plinth and secure it with cable ties (1) to the subframe, see Fig. 5.
A
Secure the wiring harness with cable ties (2) to the weighing plinth, see Fig. 5.
A
Fit the sealing strip with white plastic film (3) over the wiring harness, see Fig. 5.
A
Lay the wiring harness further back behind the front spring, see Fig. 6.
A
Lay the wiring harness upwards against the side panel and press the cable holders into the strut in the side panel,
see Fig. 7.
A
Connect the wiring harness to the washing machine ELP electronic module at the appropriate socket (1), see Fig. 8.
A
Secure the wiring harness with a cable holder (2) to the carrier on the ELP electronic module, see Fig. 8.
A
Screw the earth wire to the front of the weighing plinth and to the washing machine subframe, see Fig. 9.
A
Loosen the transit safety device in the plinth. To do this, unscrew the top nut in the transit safety device (1)
downwards at each corner, see Fig. 10.
A
Remove the transit safety device in the washing machine as described in the operating instructions.
A
Refit the back panel on the washing machine.
A
Clamp the bottom cover plate on the back of the washing machine to the rubber grommet and screw in place.
