Since this unit uses a microcontroller, external noise and
other interference can cause the unit to malfunction. If
this should occur, unplug the unit's power from the outlet
and wait a little while before plugging the power in again
and retrying the operation.

Beware of condensation

When the unit is moved from a cold to a warm place,
or used after a sudden temperature change, there is a
danger of condensation on the lens of CD/SACD player.
Vapor in the air could cause condensation on the inter-
nal mechanism, making proper operation impossible. If
this occurs, or as a preventative measure, leave the unit
turned on for one or two hours. This will allow the unit
to adjust to the temperature of its surroundings.
