• If the device is not going to be used for
some time, remove the battery.
• If the battery is leaking, remove it from
the device immediately. Before inserting a
new battery, clean the contacts. There is a
risk of skin irritations from battery acid!
• Always remove a flat battery from the
device.
• At low temperatures the capacity of the
battery might drop significantly as the
chemical reactions slow down. When
recording in cold weather, keep a second
battery pack in reserve in a warm place
(e.g. trouser pocket).
• Avoid any blows or jolts that may affect
the battery and do not crush it or drop it.
