Under some circumstances, (and with
some dust extraction machines), when the
Sanding Head Suction Control is used, it
may be necessary to allow extra air into the
dust extraction hose. This helps balance
the airflow in the dust extraction system
and prevent the motor in the dust extraction
machine from becoming strained and
possibly overheating.
To Balance the Airflow:
• Open one or both ports by sliding open
the port door(s).
• Adjust the port(s) until the desired suction
at the Swivel Head is maintained and the
motor in the dust extraction machine is
running normally with no sign of strain.
Note: The Air Balance Ports are
conveniently located near a hand grip area,
so that the operator can adjust them whilst
work is in progress, if required.
Telescopic Tube (Fig. 8)

The machines main tube can be extended.
This increases the machines 'reach' and
enables ceilings etc to be accessed easily.
To extend the Telescopic Tube:
• Loosen the Telescopic Tube Locking
Collar. (Fig. 9)

• Pull the lower tube from the upper tube
until the desired length is achieved.
• Tighten the Locking Collar.
Note: The lower tube is 'captive' within
the upper tube. It cannot be removed
from the machine.
High Intensity LED Torch (Fig. 10)

The High Intensity LED Torch is strategically
positioned below the Swivel Head. It
will shine a bright beam of light towards
the area of the wall that is being sanded,
allowing the operator to monitor and
evaluate progress easily.
To switch the Torch 'On' or 'Off':
• Press the rocker switch located on the
Right Hand side of the torch body.
• Press side 'I' to switch the torch on.
• Press side 'O' to switch the torch off.
