LIMITED WARRANTY

WHAT IS COVERED?
Onsen warrants this water heater and its components to be free from defects in material and workmanship
according to the terms herein.
This limited warranty is to the original owner of the heater at original installed location and is transferable only
with original receipt showing date of purchase. This limited warranty applies to heaters installed within the US
and Canada by licensed professionals in accordance with Onsen's installation and operating instructions and all
applicable codes. Improper installation may void the warranty. The limited warranty coverage as set out in the
table below extends to the original purchaser and subsequent owners, but only while the product remains at the
site of the original installation. This limited warranty only extends to the first / original installation of the product
and terminates if the product is moved or reinstalled at a new location. The effective date of this limited warranty
is the verified date of purchase (original receipt).

WARRANTY COVERAGE
WHAT WILL ONSEN DO?
Onsen will repair or replace the covered product or any part or component that is defective in materials or
workmanship as set forth in the above table. Replacement of the product may be authorized by Onsen only at its
sole discretion. If Onsen determines that repair of a product is not possible, Onsen may replace the product with
a comparable product at Onsen's sole discretion. The warranty claim for product parts and labor may be denied
if a component or product returned to Onsen is found to be free of defects in material or workmanship; damaged
by improper installation, use or operation; or damaged during return shipping.

MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM

Warranty claims must be submitted directly to Onsen. If you are advised to return the unit, you must obtain a
Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number BEFORE RETURNING THE UNIT. When contacting Onsen, please
have the unit's serial number and original receipt on hand to provide purchase date and other necessary
information. Package the heater well to prevent damage, tag the heater with the RGA number and ship the water
heater to Onsen as instructed. Unauthorized returns may be rejected at Onsen's discretion.
For pre-approved warranty claims, responsibility for shipping costs will be allocated as follows:
Within 60 DAYS of the date of purchase: ground shipping within the continental United States and Canada
(excluding territories) will be paid by Onsen.
After 60 DAYS of the date of purchase: owner is responsible for shipping costs.
