Charging the Li-Ion
Battery
The CS LD 1.0 uses a recharge-
able Li-Ion type battery.
!
This internal battery is not user
replaceable. This battery is ra-
ted to last many years if proper-
ly maintained. Do not attempt to
replace battery. Please contact
Bosch Customer Service for any
issues related to the battery.
CAUTION
LITHIUM ION RECHARGEABLE
BATTERY INSIDE
Do not open the leak detector housing to access the
internal battery. This battery is not user replaceable.

Battery Status

The CS LD 1.0 constantly monitors
the battery status and capacity is
indicated in the upper right of the
display as both a graphic and a per-
centage.
A fully charged battery should pro-
vide roughly 8 hours of continuous
operation.
The battery icon will change to red
when charge drops to or below
15% (Fig. 18). This is an indication
that it requires recharging.

Charging the internal
battery
Connect the micro-USB connector
cable to the charging port located
on the base of the leak detector,
refer to Fig. 19. Connect the other
end of the cable to the 5V DC 1.0A
wall charger provided, and con-
nect to a mains power supply.
