4-14 RANGE - manual range selection

Manual mode is active for the functions A, V and Ω
When switched on, range selection is in auto mode.
- One press on the RANGE button selects manual mode: RANGE is displayed.
- By successive presses, select the 1st, 2nd,..., or 5th measurement range.
- A continuous press resets the clamp to auto mode.
Auto mode → RANGE (2 s) → Auto mode
NB: For the Hz function, the RANGE button selects the voltage sensitivity
levels: 10 mV, 100 mV or 1 V.
4-15 MIN/MAX value
This function is active for A, V, Ω, Hz,
This function sets the clamp to permanent operation and in manual mode, on
the range for the signal present: RANGE is displayed.
It is advisable to preselect the measurement range
This function holds the min or max value: HOLD is also displayed.
This held value is reset if the signal takes a higher value in MAX mode, or lower
in MIN mode.
- A press on the MIN/MAX button and MIN is displayed: display of the min value.
- A second press and MAX is displayed: display of the max value.
- A third press: return to manual mode.
Automatic mode → MIN → MAX → Manual mode
NB:
- The change from MIN to MAX erases the min value and the change
from MAX to manual mode erases the max value; these values are not
recorded.
- In this function, the change to display HOLD (press HOLD) is only
indicated by a beep; the HOLD symbol being already displayed.
