4-8 FREQUENCY MEASUREMENT

Under no circumstances may the two types of input (voltage and current)
be connected at the same time.
Frequency of current - Same procedure as for current measurement in
AC mode, next press the Hz button.
NB: No lead must be connected to the clamp.
Frequency of voltage - Same procedure as for voltage measurement in
AC mode, next press the Hz button.
NB: the clamp must not enclose any cable.
If necessary, use the secondary functions MIN/MAX, HOLD
NB: Levels of sensitivity. For frequency of voltage, the RANGE button
allows manual selection of different levels of sensitivity.
10 mV is preselected on auto and 10 mV, 100 mV or 1 V on manual.
Each time RANGE is pressed: brief display of the sensitivity.
For the frequency on current, choose, with RANGE button, until to obtain
stability of display.

4-9 RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT

Set the switch to Ω
Connect the red lead to the + terminal and the black lead to the COM terminal
and connect up to the terminals of the circuit to be tested.
If necessary, use the secondary functions MIN/MAX, RANGE, HOLD.
Never make a resistance measurement, continuity test, diode test, on
a live circuit.

4-10 CONTINUITY SOUND TEST

Same procedure as for resistance measurement, but with the switch on
If the resistance is less than 40 Ω, the buzzer emits a continuous signal.
