CAUTION!
Handling the device and the media used may cause hazards that may result in physical injury. It is therefore essential to observe the safety data
sheet of the spray medium used as well as the following safety instructions.
• Avoid contact with the spray medium when applying it. Wear protective clothing, masks and goggles and protect your hands.
• Eating, drinking and smoking is only permitted after removing the protective clothing and carefully cleaning your hands and face.
• Do not blow through blocked nozzles and valves using your mouth (risk of poisoning).
• Do not use the device when other people are in the work area.
• Fill media only into the designated containers. Store the device and media so that they cannot be reached by children and household pets.
• The operator is responsible towards third parties, especially children and household pets, for ensuring that escaping media are not directed at
them when the ball valve is opened during commissioning and when spraying through the spray jet.
• Do not spray against the wind or in strong winds. Do not apply more spray medium than is necessary for the area to be treated.
CAUTION!
Health hazard due to contact with whitewash. Whitewash can cause skin irritation.
Whitewash can cause serious damage, including blindness, if it comes into contact with the eyes. You must therefore pay attention to the
following safety instructions:
• Follow the safety data sheet of the whitewash used.
• Always wear suitable protective clothing when using whitewash.
• Always wear suitable eye protection when using whitewash.
5.3 Danger of material damage
IMPORTANT!
Improper use can cause damage to property. You must therefore pay attention to the following safety instructions:
• Do not leave the device under pressure for a long time.
• Do not store the device in stables. Ammonia vapours can cause damage to components
made of brass and lead to cracking.
• Do not fill in solutions containing nitrogen and phosphate.
• After use, empty the device completely. Never store the spray medium used in the device.
• Protect the device from direct sunlight and frost.
6. Bringing into operation
WARNING!
Before commissioning, refer to Section 2: "For your safety".
CAUTION!
Health hazard due to leaking media. A leaking device and leaking parts of the device can cause the spray medium used to leak or splash out.
You must therefore pay attention to the following safety instructions:
• Before each use, check the device for perfect condition and tightness.
• For the leak test, fill the container with water and pressurise it.
