In all cases, use sufficient padding to protect the battery charger (and
battery pack, if included) from damage due to dropping or outside
pressure. Use a sealed plastic bag to protect the instrument from
moisture or water damage.
Damage resulting from improper packaging or damage in shipment is
not covered by the instrument warranty.

Power Supply Cord

Use a UL Listed detachable power supply cord:
No. 18 AWG, 3-conductor, flexible cord
rated 10 A, VW-1, 105°C, minimum 1.8 m (maximum 3 m)
provided with a:
molded-on grounding type, attachment plug with a 15A, 125V
(NEMA 5-15P) or a 15A, 250V (NEMA 6-15P) configuration
molded-on connector which mates with the Power Inlet.
SV: SVE, SVO, SVOO, SVT, SVTO or SVTOO
SJ: SJE, SJO, SJOO, SJT, SJTO or SJTOO
S:
SE, SO,
RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRICAL SHORT: For connection to a
supply not in the USA or Canada, use an attachment plug
adapter
of
power outlet.

Troubleshooting

The Omega Five Unit Charger is designed to provide years of reliable
service. If a charger failure is suspected, follow the "Troubleshooting
Guidelines," TABLE 5-1.

Repair Procedures

When a failed component is located as a result of following the
guidelines, it may be replaced by using one of the following procedures.
