Canceling the DEMO Mode

You can cancel the demonstration display which
appears when the source is off and the clock is
displayed.

Press and hold
second, rotate the control dial to select
[GENERAL], then press it.

Rotate the control dial to select [DEMO
MODE], then press it.

Rotate the control dial to select [DEMO
OFF], then press it.
The setting is complete.

Press (back) twice.
The display returns to normal reception/play
mode.

Basic Setting Operation

You can set items in the following setup
categories:
General setup (GENERAL), Audio setup (AUDIO),
Display setup (DISPLAY), BLUETOOTH setup
(BLUETOOTH)

category, then press it.
The items that can be set differ depending on
the source and settings.

options, then press it.

General Setup (GENERAL)

DEMO MODE (demonstration)
Activates the demonstration: [ON], [OFF].
CLOCK ADJ (clock adjust) (page 10)
CAUTION ALM (caution alarm)
Activates the caution alarm: [ON], [OFF] (page
10).
(Available only while the source is off and the
clock is displayed.)
BEEP
Activates the beep sound: [ON], [OFF].
AUTO OFF
Shuts off automatically after a desired time
when the unit is turned off: [ON]
(30 minutes), [OFF].
USB MODE
Changes the USB mode: [MSC/MTP],
[ANDROID].
(Available only when the USB source is
selected.)
RDS CT (clock time)
Activates the CT function: [ON], [OFF].
SXM PARENTAL (CDE-175BT/ CDE-172BT only)
Sets the parental lock to [ON], [OFF], and edits
the passcode (page 16).
(Available only when SiriusXM is selected.)
SMX SIGNAL (CDE-175BT/ CDE-172BT only)
Displays the current status of the SiriusXM
signal strength:[NO SIGNAL] (signal level 0),
[WEAK] (signal level 1), [GOOD] (signal level 2),
[EXCELLENT] (signal level 3).
(Available only when SiriusXM is selected.)
SXM RESET (CDE-175BT/ CDE-172BT only)
Initializes the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner
settings (preset channels/parental lock): [YES],
[NO].
(Available only when SiriusXM is selected.)
FIRMWARE
(Available only while the source is off and the
clock is displayed.)
Checks/updates the firmware version. For
details, consult your nearest Alpine dealer.
FW VERSION (firmware version)
Displays current firmware version.
