Screw the instrument onto an empty bottle and empty
it completely by dispensing multiple times.

With one hand, press the actuating unit downward all
the way and hold it. Loosen the volume selector thumb
screw by a half turn, slide the pointer vertically to the
upper stop and re-tighten the volume thumb screw.

Release the piston lock.
d.
Unscrew and remove the actuating unit.
e.
Unscrew the dispensing cartridge and replace it with a
new one, see Accessories/spare parts, p. 63.
f.
Screw the actuating unit on and engage the piston lock.
