USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

Before using the remote control, ensure the unit is powered on!

POWER ON/OFF

Press this button to turn the air conditioner on or off. After turning on the air conditioner,
the power symbol will appear on the remote control display and the unit display; the unit
will also emit a single beep.
OPERATING MODE BUTTON
Press the operating mode button to cycle through the various modes of operation.
AUTO, COOL, DRY, FAN, HEAT
AUTO mode: When selecting the automatic mode, the temperature can not be
set on the remote controller display and must be changed on the air conditioner
unit. Press the Fan button to adjust fan speed; press the blade direction button to
adjust fan direction.
COOL mode: After selecting the cooling mode, the air conditioner will begin op-
eration. The cooling indicator will appear on the display. Press the + button to
increase room temperature (warmer) and the - button to decrease room tempera-
ture (cooler). Press the Fan button to adjust fan speed; press the blade direction
button to adjust fan direction.
DRY mode: After selecting the dehumidifier mode, the unit will begin operation.
The dehumidification indicator will appear on the display. The fan speed can not
be adjusted during operation; press the blade direction button to adjust fan di-
rection.
FAN mode: Operate the fan to circulate air within the room without running the air
conditioner or heating units.
HEAT mode: Warm the room using the heater (only on select models). Note that to
avoid blowing cold air, the unit will start warming immediately and begin sending
warm air within 1-5 minutes. The delay is based on current ambient temperature.
+/- BUTTONS
Press these buttons to increase or decrease the temperature in 1° increments. When con-
figuring the timer, use the buttons to increase and decrease the time before operation
commences or ends.
