D55 Chlorine Dioxide besides chlorine
1. see D55 Chlorine Dioxide 1.
2. Add one DPD Glycine tablet to the other cuvette. Do
not touch the tablet with your fingers.
3. Crush the tablet with a gentle twisting motion. Close
the cuvette with the lid and swirl slightly to dissolve
the tablet faster.
4. Add one DPD No.1 tablet to the cuvette. Do not touch
the tablet with your fingers.
5. Crush the tablet with a gentle twisting motion. Close
the cuvette with the lid and swirl slightly to dissolve the
tablet faster.
6. Place the cuvette in the right chamber of the CHECKIT
Comparator (without lid). The dot on the cuvette must
point to the viewer.
7. Hold the CHECKIT
Match the colour of the water sample with the CHECKIT
DISC. The colour corresponding to the water sample
indicates the content in mg/L ClO
Additional: To determine free chlorine, perform a new
measurement using only DPD No.1 [skip steps 2 & 3].

Important:
After each measurement, rinse the cuvettes thoroughly.

If stored properly, the color discs have a shelf life of 3 years
from the date of receipt.
