4. Make sure the battery's voltage does not exceed 16 volts
DC. CONNECTING THE INVERTER TO A DC POWER SOURCE
GREATER THAN 16V WILL VOID THE WARRANTY, AND MAY
DAMAGE THE INVERTER.
Troubleshooting
If the inverter does not appear to be functioning properly, there are
several reasons why the inverter may not be responding:

Poor contact
Clean contact parts thoroughly
Receptacle
Check car fuse, replace damaged fuse. Check receptacle
has no power
wiring. Repair if necessary.
Fuse is blown
The fuse is located inside the DC plug. Replace fuse with a
fuse of equivalent value.
Battery
Start the engine to recharge the battery, replace battery if
voltage is too
needed.
low
Shut down on
Reduce the wattage of your load to lower than 150 watts.
overload
Thermal
Under heavy loads for extended periods of time, the inverter
shutdown
will shut down to prevent damage due to excess heat. Simply
reduce your load and allow the inverter to cool down.
Low-battery
Recharge your battery and resume operation. If you appear
shutdown
to have a problem which is not listed above, you may call our
customer service department.
