4.2 Device features
The device uses Home Pulsed Light™ (HPL) and microcurrent technologies. In addition to the HPL
energy, which applies thermal effect on the hair shafts, the device utilizes galvanic energy via
micro-current pulses that are emitted immediately before the light pulses.
The microcurrent circuit goes between the base electrode and the contact electrode through
the treatment area, increasing the HPL efficacy by opening the hair follicles.
The illustration at the front of the user manual shows the main features of the device as well as a
skin color chart to identify which energy levels are suitable for each skin color tone.

4.3 Intended use
The device is intended for removal of unwanted hair. The device is also intended to effect long
term or permanent hair reduction. Permanent hair reduction is defined as a long-term stable
reduction in the number of hairs regrowing after a treatment regime. You may use the device to
remove unwanted body hair. Ideal body areas include the underarms, bikini line, arms, legs, face
(below the cheekbones), back, shoulders and chest.
The device is intended for self treatment only. Do not operate the device on an individual other
than yourself.
Do not use for any purpose other than as described in this manual.
