5.4. CLEANING THE DRAIN PUMP
CAUTION!
• RISK OF BURNS. The appliance may contain hot water. Do not clean the drain pump during or immediately after a wash.
Clean the drain pump every three months.
1.
Open the maintenance hatch.
2.
Turn the orange plug a quarter turn until the grip is positioned
vertically.
3.
Pull the orange plug with the drain hose out of the appliance.
4.
Hold the end of the drain hose above a bucket or washing-up
bowl.
5.
Pull the orange plug out of the drain hose. Wait until all the
water has run out of the drain hose.
6.
Put the orange plug back in the drain hose.
7.
Place the drain hose with the orange plug back into the
appliance vertically.
8.
Turn the orange plug a quarter turn until the grip is positioned
horizontally.
