3.8.1. CONNECTING THE DISCHARGE HOSE TO A SIPHON
The washing machine connection to the siphon must have a minimum diameter of 1½ inches and be present at a height of 100
cm.
1.
Remove the washing machine connection from the siphon.
2.
Remove the rubber stopper from the washing machine
connection to the siphon.
3.
Put the washing machine connection back on the siphon.
4.
Slide a hose clamp around the end of the drain hose. The
hose clamp is not included. The washing machine connection
to the siphon must have a minimum internal diameter of 1½
inches and be present at a maximum height of 100 cm.
5.
Slide the drain hose over the washing machine connection to
the siphon.
6.
Tighten the hose clamp with a screwdriver.

NOTE
• Check for leaks during the first wash. If leakage occurs, check that the drain hose is connected correctly and completely. If
there is no leakage, the drain hose is connected correctly.
3.8.2. CONNECTING THE DISCHARGE HOSE TO A DRAIN PIPE
Insert the discharge hose into the drain pipe.
Do not insert the discharge hose deeper than 15 cm into the drain
pipe to prevent the water from flowing back during pumping.

NOTE
• If you want to connect the drain hose of the washing machine and a dryer to the same drain pipe, first install a y-piece on
the drain pipe.
• The loose drain pipe must have a minimum diameter of 4 cm and be present at a maximum height of 100 cm.
• It is advisable to attach the discharge hose to the wall with a hose bracket to prevent kinks or blockages in the discharge
hose.
