Connecting with a TV
Connexion à un téléviseur
Are there any HDMI IN jacks labeled "ARC" on your TV?
Votre téléviseur possède-t-il des prises HDMI IN nommées « ARC » ?

box or satellite box, etc.

 Use an HDMI cable (not supplied) to connect an HDMI IN jack
on your TV and the HDMI OUT (TV (ARC)) jack on the Bar
Speaker.
Note
• Make sure that the cable is firmly inserted.
HDMI OUT
• When your TV does not have an HDMI IN jack labeled "ARC," you also need to
connect the TV and the Bar Speaker via the optical digital cable (supplied) as
TV (ARC)
instructed in step . There will be no sound output from the TV if the TV and
the Bar Speaker are connected only via the HDMI cable.
When there is no HDMI IN jack labeled "ARC" on your TV, use

the optical digital cable (supplied) to connect an optical out
jack on your TV and the TV IN (OPTICAL) jack on the Bar
Speaker.
Note
• Check the shape of the optical digital cable's connecters and the jacks on the
TV IN
TV and the Bar Speaker. Insert the connecters into the jacks in the right
(OPTICAL)
directions. If you forcibly insert the connecters in the wrong directions, the
connecters and the jacks may be damaged.

Raccordez un câble HDMI (non fourni) entre la prise HDMI IN
de votre téléviseur et la prise HDMI OUT (TV (ARC)) de
l'enceinte-barre.
Remarque
• Assurez-vous que le câble est bien enfoncé.
• Si votre téléviseur ne possède pas de prise HDMI IN nommée « ARC », vous
devez aussi raccorder le téléviseur et l'enceinte-barre via le câble numérique
optique (fourni) comme décrit à l'étape . Aucun son ne sera reproduit sur le
téléviseur si celui-ci et l'enceinte-barre ne sont raccordés qu'à l'aide du câble
HDMI.
Si votre téléviseur ne possède pas de prise HDMI IN nommée
« ARC », branchez le câble numérique optique (fourni) entre la
prise de sortie optique de votre téléviseur et la prise TV IN
(OPTICAL) de l'enceinte-barre.
Remarque
• Vérifiez la forme des connecteurs du câble numérique optique et des prises
du téléviseur et de l'enceinte-barre. Insérez les connecteurs dans les prises
en respectant le bon sens. Si vous insérez les connecteurs de force dans le
mauvais sens, vous risquez d'endommager à la fois les connecteurs et les
prises.

 Connect the AC power cord (mains lead) to the Bar Speaker and then connect
the AC power cord (mains lead) to the AC outlet (mains).
 Press  (power) on the remote control of the Bar Speaker.
After the TV, BLUETOOTH and USB indicators light up in sequence for a few seconds, only
the TV indicator lights up.
Note
• Do not place magnetic cards on the Bar Speaker or near the Bar Speaker.

Listening to the sound
Écoute du son

Press and hold VOICE on the remote control of the Bar Speaker for 5 seconds.
The USB indicator on the Bar Speaker flashes twice, then the Control for HDMI function is
set to on.
You can turn on/off the power, adjust the volume, etc. of the Bar Speaker with the TV
remote control.

Make sure that the TV indicator on the Bar Speaker lights up.
When the TV indicator on the Bar Speaker does not light up, press INPUT on the remote
control of the Bar Speaker to select the TV input.
 Adjust the volume by pressing  +/– on the remote control of the Bar Speaker.
Note
• Depending on the order in which you turn on the TV and the Bar Speaker, the Bar Speaker
may enter muting mode. In this case, turn on the TV first, then the Bar Speaker.
• If you do not set the Control for HDMI function to on in step
from the Bar Speaker.

 Raccordez le cordon d'alimentation secteur à l'enceinte-barre, puis à la prise
secteur.
 Appuyez sur la touche  (alimentation) de la télécommande de l'enceinte-
barre.
Ensuite les voyants TV, BLUETOOTH et USB s'allument successivement pendant quelques
secondes, puis seuls le voyant TV brille.
Remarque
• Ne placez pas de cartes magnétiques sur l'enceinte-barre ou à proximité de celle-ci.
INPUT
VOICE

+/–

Maintenez la touche VOICE de la télécommande de l'enceinte-barre enfoncée
pendant 5 secondes.
L'indicateur USB de l'enceinte-barre clignote deux fois, puis la fonction Commande pour
HDMI est activée.
Vous pouvez allumer/éteindre, régler le volume, etc. de l'enceinte-barre avec la
télécommande du téléviseur.

Assurez-vous que le voyant TV brille sur l'enceinte-barre.
Si le voyant TV ne brille pas sur l'enceinte-barre, appuyez sur INPUT sur la télécommande
de l'enceinte-barre pour sélectionner l'entrée du téléviseur.
 Réglez le volume en appuyant sur  +/– sur la télécommande de l'enceinte-
barre.
Remarque
• Selon l'ordre dans lequel vous mettez sous tension le téléviseur et l'enceinte-barre, cette
dernière peut passer en mode Silencieux. Dans ce cas, mettez d'abord le téléviseur sous


• Si vous n'activez pas la fonction Commande pour HDMI à l'étape
