When the burner remains lit, push in and turn the control knob among HIGH-MID-LOW to the
desired heat setting.

If the burner goes out, push in and turn the control knob to the OFF position. Check the
fuel supply.
a.
If the fuel supply is OK, repeat the above procedure.
9.
To check for correct burner flame, look through the ventilation holes in the top of the heater.
10. The heater is working correctly when the following criteria are met.
a.
The flame is contained within the heater.
b.
The flame is essentially blue with perhaps some yellow tipping.
c.
There is no strong disagreeable odour, eye burning or other physical discomfort.
d.
There is no smoke or soot in or out of the heater.
e.
There are no unplanned or unexplained shutdowns of the heater.
STOPPING THE HEATER
1.
Tightly close the propane supply valve on cylinders by turning the valve clockwise.
2.
Wait 15 minutes for the heater to cool before handling the heater.
3.
Turn the control knob to the OFF position.
4.
Always remove the gas supply hose from the heater and the cylinder after each use.
RESTARTING THE HEATER
1.
Wait 5 minutes after stopping the heater.
2.
Repeat the steps under 'Starting the Heater' above.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Do not attempt to service the heater while it is connected to the propane supply, operating,
or hot. Severe burns can occur.
1.
Maintain the heater with care. A heater in good condition is efficient, easier to control and will
prevent unnecessary problems.
2.
Keep the heater clean, dry and free from oil/grease at all times.
3.
Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
4.
Inspect the heater's fittings, alignment and hoses, and components periodically. Have damaged
or worn components repaired or replaced by an authorized technician.
5.
Maintain the heater's label and name plate. These carry important information. If unreadable or
missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for replacements.
6.
Always keep the heater clear and free of combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable
vapours and liquids.
