Use 2 spanner wrenches to connect the regulator to the main housing (Fig. 5).
7.
Connect the regulator to the gas cylinder and use a spanner wrench to tighten
the connection (Fig. 6).
NOTE: Follow the directions on the hang tag attached to the hose assembly for instructions on connecting
the hose to the heater. There is only one proper way to connect the hose.

OPERATION
WARNING! Always check for leaks before operation. Follow the procedure detailed in the section
titled 'Installation' to check for leaks.
WARNING! Follow all local codes and regulations when using this heater.
NOTE: The cylinder supply system must be arranged for vapour withdrawal and include a collar to protect
the cylinder valve.
STARTING THE HEATER
WARNING! The heater assembly and heated air is very hot during operation. Do not touch any part of
the heater or get too close to heated air. When checking the flame colour during operation, move
in gradually.
1.
Turn the control knob (#5) to the OFF position.
2.
Fully open the valve on the propane cylinder slowly.
3.
Wait 15 seconds.
4.
Push the control knob in and turn it to the IGN position.
5.
Once ignited, continue to depress the control knob for 30 seconds, then release.
6.
If the heater does not light, wait 5 minutes and repeat the above procedure.
