USING YOUR APPARATUS
Attention:
It is essential that the footrest be in the low position on the side on which it is installed. It is
also essential that you hold onto the fixed handlebar on the apparatus during the installation
phase.
Your Elliptical Cycle's footrests must not be in motion when you wish to get onto or off the
product.
The elliptical cycle is a new generation fitness apparatus. Movement is natural and very
comfortable. Thanks to the low impact of the movement on your joints, your knees and
ankles are protected. The upper arms enable a full work out by simultaneously exercising the
upper body.
3 basic positions enable you to work the largest muscles in your lower body
DRAWING 1 Upright position
When you train with your Elliptical Cycle, your movements
must maintain as regular a rhythm as possible.
The Elliptical Cycle can be used in both directions (forwards or
backwards).
You are advised to use the apparatus in the "forwards"
direction.
However, going "backwards" will allow you to vary your
training.
When the apparatus is used to go "backwards", bend your
knees more. This enables you to give your gluteal and thigh
muscles a particular work out. When training with your
Elliptical Cycle, you can rest on the fixed handgrip or hold onto
the moving handgrips.
Stand up straight. Lift your head in order to prevent
unnecessary strain on your neck and shoulders.
This position enables you to work on all the major muscles.
Be sure to stand up straight and lift your head.
