CHANGING THE ACTIVEPURE CELL ASSEMBLY (S/N 49919)
NOTE:
The ActivePure Cell Assembly requires replacement at approx 9,000 hours of use The LED will flash periodically (visual chirp) to notify that
cell replacement is required The UV bulb will NOT be turned on again until the cell has been replaced

Unplug from power source and remove cover (see page 5)

Remove unit from wall

Remove tubing at cell (Figure 1)

Unplug photo sensor at cell (Figure 1)

Unplug wire harness from bulb (Figure 1)

Remove 2 ballast screws (Figure 1)

Unplug ballast from PCB (Figure 1)

Remove 2 cell screws at back (Figure 2)

Slide ActivePure Cell up slightly and to the right (Figure 3)
10 Tilt cell forward and slide up and out; may require pulling very
slightly on plumbing – use extreme caution – do no break
plumbing connections (Figures 4, 4a, 4b)
11 Replace with new ActivePure Cell (S/N 49919) and remount to
base (Figure 5)
NOTE: Two holes, A and B, are used to install new ActivePure Cell
12 Assemble unit and mount on wall (Follow steps 9 - 1)
