5.4 Battery capacity indicator (Fig. 6)
Press the button for the battery capacity indicator
(A). The battery capacity indicator (B) shows the
charge status of the battery using 3 LEDs.
All 3 LEDs are lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 or 1 LED(s) are lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED fl ashes:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs blink:
The battery temperature is too low. Remove the
battery from the equipment, keep it at room tem-
perature for one day. If the fault reoccurs, this me-
ans that the rechargeable battery has undergone
exhaustive discharge and is defective. Remove
the battery from the equipment. Never use or
charge a defective battery.
6. Operation
Caution!
If you point the air fl ow at other people, animals or
objects (e.g. windows), this could cause injuries
and damage. Check that all the components are
correctly seated.
Point the air flow away from yourself.
Never point the air flow at other people, ani-
mals or objects.
Do not blow away any hard objects such as
stones or branches.
6.1 Switching the equipment on/off (Fig. 7)
This equipment comes with an On/Off slide
switch (Item 2).
To switch on, press the slide switch to the
right into the housing (ON position). The
equipment will blow at its lowest level.
To switch off, press the slide switch to the left
into the housing (OFF position).
6.2 Speed control (Fig. 7)
The tool comes with electronic speed control for
setting the continuous blowing velocity. Two diff e-
rent blowing velocity levels can be selected.
1. Switch on the tool (Section 6.1). The tool will
blow at low level. Three bars will appear in the
display (Item 3a).
2. You can increase the blowing velocity to ma-

ximum level by pressing the MAX pushbutton
(Item 3c). Five bars will appear in the display
(Item 3a)
3. You can reduce the blowing velocity again by
pressing the MIN pushbutton (Item 3b).
Important!
To minimize noise and maximize battery ope-
rating time, do not work in MAX mode (all fi ve
bars in the display (Item 3a)) any longer than
necessary.
6.3 Blowing foliage
Turn on the equipment (see section 6.1).
Set the desired blowing velocity with the
speed controller (see section 6.2).
Direct the air stream forward and walk slowly
to blow foliage or garden refuse into a pile or
to remove it from hard-to-reach places.
To increase the blowing velocity for a short
time, use TURBO mode (see section 6.3).
Danger!
Never gather (blow) hot, combustible or explosive
materials into piles.
7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the battery pack before starting
any cleaning work.
7.1 Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
