6. Position the reinforcements against the cabinet side
walls, flush to the interior side of the cabinet front.

7. Secure the reinforcements to the cabinet front using
a minimum of three flat-headed screws in each of the
areas indicated for screw placement.
8. (Optional) To increase airflow to the microwave, cut
ventilation holes, 6 in. (152 mm) x 2 in. (51 mm), at
the lower-rear of the microwave cabinet, all cabinets
below the microwave cabinet, and at floor level.
6 Installation
This section describes how to install the microwave in its
cabinet and set it up prior to its first use.
6 .1 Installing the Microwave
1. Plug the power cord into the power outlet. The
display will light up, then enter the standby state and
the display will show 1:00.

2. Slide the microwave into the cabinet. Make sure that
the microwave is positioned equidistant from the side
walls of the cabinet.
3. Push the microwave until the trim is fully seated
against the cabinet front.
