Before first use
1. Remove all packaging and any stickers or labels that are on the outside of
the device.
2. Clean the device to remove packaging residues, among other things. To do
this, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth or sponge. Clean the water tank
thoroughly. Dry the surfaces afterwards or wait until they have dried.
Filling the water kettle with water
1. Press the lid button to open the lid.
2. Fill the water tank with at least 0.5L of water and a maximum of 1.5L of
water. Be careful never to fill it with less or more water. A scale to help you
can be found inside the water kettle.
3. Close the lid.
Recommendation
Before first use, fill the water tank to the maximum (1.5 L) with tap water and boil the
water to 100° C to clean it thoroughly.
Meaning
Water is heated to 100° C and can thus be
used for cooking.
Water is heated to 90° C. This temperature
is often recommended for the preparation
of coffee.
Water is heated to 85° C. This temperature
is often recommended for the preparation
of black tea.
Water is heated to 60° C. This temperature
is often recommended for the preparation
of green tea.
Water is heated to 40° C. This temperature
is often recommended for the preparation
of milk from milk powder.
