MAIN FUNCTIONS
The main function of this unit is to vacuum and seal a wide variety of foods, keeping them fresh for longer
while preserving flavours and aromas. With the vacuum model VT52 you can easily:
Bake in individual portions or entire meals in advance to consume later, by heating them directly into the bag.
Prepare food for picnics and camping trips or barbecues.
Eliminate freezer burn, by simply sealing all foods before freezing them.
Eliminate bulky packaging of meat, fish, poultry and vegetables before you freeze or refrigerate.
Store pre-packaged foods (i.e. for diets with special needs).
Protect a wide variety of valuable items such as photos, important documents, stamps, collections, collections
of books, cards or comics, etc... hardware such as screws, nails, rivets and bolts, or keep medicines, bandages
and other elements of first aid kit.
OPERATING THE UNIT
To ensure best performance, use bags and rolls with opening up to 28.5cm.
1. SEALING
Use this function with vacuum rolls, where both sides are opened.
- Take the power cord, connect the plug to a suitable power socket (AC230V), the connector to the socket
(14) on the back of appliance. Place a side of the roll over the rubber strip (8), then close lid.
- Press the lid down firmly on both sides by using both hands until it clicks in position (see Fig.2).
- Press the "Seal" button (1), the working light (6) turns blue during function; when it becomes green, the bag
is sealed.
- Press the release buttons
(10) to open the lid and
take out the bag.
2. VACUUM THE BAG
- Fill bag with the food you
want to store.
- Clean and straighten the open end of the bag, make sure that there are no ripples on it.
- Ensure the open end of the bag is inside the vacuum area (9) edged by the gasket (13), as shown in Fig.1.
- Press the lid down firmly on both sides by using both hands until you it clicks in position (see Fig.2).
- Press DRY button (3) to vacuum and then seal dry food (without humidity): for this food the sealing time is
short. The button light switches on; when it turns off, the processes are completed.
- Press MOIST button (4) to vacuum and then seal moist food (with humidity): for this food the sealing time
is longer. The button light switches on; when it turns off, the processes are completed.
- Press PULSE button (5) to make vacuum by pulses and manually regulate the vacuum level. This is useful
to close fragile products, that can be damaged by automatic function. When you reach the desired vacuum
level, close the bag with the "Seal" button (1).
WARNING: with the pulse (Impulsi) function the vacuum level may not be optimal, and therefore the
conservation time may be shorter than expected.
- Press the release buttons (10) to open the lid.
