About the Upgrades of the AW-HE35/AW-HE38/AW-HE40 Firmware
Starting from Version 1.60, the firmware for AW-HE35/AW-HE38/AW-HE40 includes an additional feature called
the NDI|HX Priority Mode. This new feature allows video to be transmitted to an NDI enabled software
application or hardware device, which ensures full compatibility with NewTek NDI over a network.
This mode needs to be activated by NewTek, Inc. before actual use.

The [NDI|HX] function has been added to the priority mode tab [Priority Mode]. (page 65)
The function supports H.264/IP transmission using NDI|HX.
When you select [NDI|HX], the settings of the items below will change.
∫ IP video settings tab [Video over IP] (page 68 to 72)
[JPEG(2)], [JPEG(3)] [H.264(3)], and [H.264(4)] cannot be selected.

Internet mode (over HTTP)
The setting will be fixed to [Off].

Recommended network setting for internet cannot be used.
≥ The OSD menu cannot be displayed for the IP image when the Priority Mode is set to [NDI|HX]. However, it can be
displayed on video output to an external monitor.
≥ This product is compatible with NDI|HX technology of NewTek, Inc.
