WALL-MOUNTED HAIR DRYER
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The safety of electrical appliances from FIRST Austria complies
with the recognized technical directives and legal regulations
for safety. Nevertheless, you and the other users of the
appliance should observe the following:
• Please read these instructions carefully before using this
appliance for the first time and keep them for further
reference.
• This product has not been designed for any other uses than
those specified in this manual.
• Before connecting the appliance to the power source,
check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds
with the mains voltage in your home. If this is not the case,
contact your dealer and do not use the appliance.
• Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces.
• Do not use the product near gas sources or other flammable
materials or objects.
• If the appliance or the power cord shows any signs
of damage, do not operate it! Take the product to an
authorized and qualified service center for inspection or
repair.
• To protect from electrical hazard, do not immerse this
appliance or cordset in any liquids.
• Do not block or cover the air inlets and outlets in any way!
• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water.
Disconnect it from the mains immediately.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is operating.
• Do not use the appliance in the immediate vicinity of water
sources such as bathtub, shower, washbasin or swimming
pool.
• This appliance heats up during use. To avoid burns, do not
touch hot surfaces.
• Do not direct hot air towards eyes or other heat sensitive
areas.
• Always disconnect the appliance from power after use,
before cleaning and in the event of a malfunction.
• The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep
the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than
8 years.

• We are excluded of liability for all damages that may arise
if the appliance is used for purposes other than originally
intended or if it is used inappropriately.
• Repairs and other work undertaken on the unit must only
be done by authorised specialist personnel!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON INSTALLATION
In order to disconnect the unit from the mains in the event of a
fault, the electrical installation must be conform to regulations.
In this regard, the device must also be protected by an
appropriate fuse.

For installations in the bathroom, it is advisable that the
residual-current device switches off at a residual-current
value of 30 mA.
•
In case of doubt, please consult a qualified technician.
•
For installations in the bathroom, the location of the
installation is also very important.
•
The device should not be in contact with water.
•
Make sure for installation, to keep a minimum safety
distance of 0.6 m to Area 1 (bathtub) with extended spiral
cord.
INSTALLING THE WALL BRACKET
1. During installation, the supply cable must always be
disconnected from the mains - switch off the fuse!
2. Remove the cover of the wall bracket by loosening the small
screw.
3. Place the bracket on the wall and mark the desired position
for the holes. Make sure to use the correct drill size. Drill
35 mm deep and then insert dowels into the holes.
4. Now lead the supply cable from the wall through the hole
in the wall bracket, then screw the wall bracket firmly to the
wall.
5. Connect the supply cable to the cable clamp and attach the
cover again.
HOW TO USE YOUR HAIRDRYER
1. The appliance is switched on by pressing the ON/OFF
switch (A).
2. Use the high setting for drying hair, use low setting for
styling.
3. If the hair dryer stops working for any reason, turn it off and
let it cool down before operating it again.
