3. Proper use
The battery-powered broom is suitable for fl at, dry
hard fl oors in interior and exterior areas as well as
for cleaning short-pile needle felt carpets without
the mounted side brush.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescri-
bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju-
ries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.

Important!
The equipment is supplied without batteries and
without a charger and is allowed to be used only
with the lithium-ion batteries of the Power X-
Change series!
The lithium-ion batteries of the Power X-Change
series are allowed to be charged only with Power
X-Chargers.
Suitable batteries and chargers from the Power
X-Change series are for example.

Caution!

Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with instructions, certain resi-
dual risks cannot be rules out. The following
hazards may arise in connection with the
equipment's construction and layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.
5. Before starting the equipment
5.1 Assembly of the handle (Fig. 3-3b)
Insert the telescopic rod (3) into the handle (2)
and then screw it tight with a screwdriver.
5.2 Assembly of the telescopic rod (Fig. 4)
Insert the telescopic rod (3) into the universal joint
(11) until it clicks into place.
5.3 Assembly of the side brush (Fig. 6-6a)
Screw the cover (e) with screwdriver. Then attach
the side brush using the screwdriver
5.4 Charging the battery (Fig. 7)
1. Take the battery pack out of the equipment.
Do this by pressing the side pushlock buttons.
2. Check that your mains voltage is the same as
that marked on the rating plate of the battery
charger. Insert the power plug of the charger
(d) into the socket outlet. The green LED will
then begin to fl ash.
3. Slot the battery pack (15) onto the battery
charger (d).
4. In the section entitled „Charger indicator" you
will fi nd a table with an explanation of the LED
indicator on the charger.
The battery pack can become a little warm during
the charging. This is normal.
