Make sure the hose is in proper working order.
Clean the hose with a cloth dipped in warm water to remove dirt or
deposits and ensure correct rewinding.
Do not use detergents or solvents which could prove incompatible with
cable-winder materials.
Dismantling of the unit by unskilled personal could prove hazardous
results, the risk involved with the preloaded springs.
Ratchet / Spring Inspection
5.1 When the hose is pulled out, the "clicking" sound should be heard.
5.2 After the "clicking" noise is heard, the rotating drum will be locked
in place by the ratchet device and the hose will not be rewound.
5.3
If the clicking sound is not heard, the hose should rewind
automatically.

The inspection should proceed as above periodically.
•
When the ratchet device does not work, it should be replaced.
•
When the hose is not rewound automatically, the spring should be
replaced.
Leakage Inspection
6.1
Regarding the media (fluid) which is used for the hose reel,
checking for leaks should be done periodically.
6.2 After taking out the hose, fully apply the soapy water on the
connected point. (Such as housing or shaft).
6.3
If the connected point is bubbling up, the user should suspect
phenomenon of leakage.

When a leak occurs, the sealing of the housing or shaft should be
replaced.
•
When a leak occurs because of hose damage, the hose should
be replaced.
