Blower safety warnings

Do not use the power tool in bad weather conditions, especially when there is a risk of
lightning. This decreases the risk of being struck by lightning.

Wear eye protection and ear protection. Adequate protective equipment will reduce the risk of
personal injury.
▶
While operating the power tool, always wear non-slip and protective footwear. Do not
operate the power tool when barefoot or wearing open sandals. This reduces the risk of injury
to the feet.

Do not wear loose fitting clothing or articles such as scarves, strings, chains, ties, etc., that
could get drawn into the air inlets. Tie back or cover long hair to make sure it does not get
drawn into the air inlets. If any of these items are drawn into the air inlets, it can increase the risk
of personal injury.

Keep bystanders away while operating the power tool. Thrown debris can increase the risk of
personal injury.
▶
Never point the blower nozzle in the direction of people or pets or in the direction of windows.
Use extra caution when blowing debris near solid objects, such as trees, automobiles and
walls that can cause debris to ricochet. Thrown objects can damage property and increase the
risk of personal injury.

Do not use the power tool to blow anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes,
matches or hot ashes. These ignition sources may increase the risk of fire.
▶
Do not touch the fan while still in motion. Turn off the power tool and wait until the fan stops
before removing any part that may give access to the fan. This reduces the risk of injury from
moving parts.

When clearing jammed material or servicing the power tool, make sure the power switch is
off. Unexpected starting of the power tool while clearing jammed material or servicing may result
in serious personal injury.
Additional safety instructions

Use the product and accessories only when they are in perfect working order.
▶
Never tamper with or modify the product or accessories in any way.
▶
Risk of injury by falling tools and/or accessories. Before starting work, check that the battery and
installed accessories are secure.

Do not touch rotating parts. Switch the product on only after it is in position at the workpiece.
Touching rotating parts, especially rotating accessory tools, can result in injury. Never use the
power tool without the guard (hood).

Wear protective gloves when changing the accessory tool. Touching the accessory tool can result
in cuts.
▶
Take frequent breaks and do physical exercises to improve the blood circulation in your fingers.
High vibration during long periods of work can lead to disorders of the blood vessels and nervous
system in the fingers, hands and wrists.

Dust produced by grinding, sanding, cutting and drilling can contain dangerous chemicals. Some
examples are: lead or lead-based paints; brick, concrete and other masonry products, natural
stone and other products containing silicates; certain types of wood, such as oak, beech and
chemically treated wood; asbestos or materials that contain asbestos. Determine the exposure of
the operator and bystanders by means of the hazard classification of the materials to be worked.
Implement the necessary measures to restrict exposure to a safe level, for example by the wearing
of suitable respiratory protection. The general measures for reducing exposure include:

avoidance of prolonged contact with dust,
