This sensor was developed, manufactured and tested in line with the applicable
safety standards. It corresponds to the state of the art.
Intended use
The LxS 36 series' line profile sensors are designed as measuring laser sensors
for object detection and for determining height profiles and object dimensions
along a projected laser line.
Areas of application
The LxS 36 series' line profile sensors are designed for the following areas of ap-
plication:
– LES 36: Edge and height measurement
– LPS 36: 2D/3D measurement of free-form surfaces
– LRS 36: Single- or multiple-trace presence and absence control

Observe intended use!
The protection of personnel and the device cannot be guaranteed if the
device is operated in a manner not complying with its intended use.
