– Now loosen the clamping lever (14) again
– Set the depth stop (3) to the desired milling depth
and tighten the clamping screw (2). Make sure
that you no longer adjust the pusher (21).
Finely adjust the milling depth
– Turn the setting screw (1) of the depth stop to the
left to the desired immersion depth.
– One revolution corresponds with a fine adjust-
ment path of 1 mm.
Milling
Note: Only basic functioning of milling is
explained in these instructions for use. We
strongly recommend you to read specialised
literature for extensive knowledge.
Notes on milling
• Always push the tool forward in the opposite
direction to the direction of rotation of the tool
(counter-rotation)!
• Always guide the tool along the workpiece at a
constant and moderate speed.
Note: In order to obtain even results, guide
the router forwards at a constant speed.
– Before switching on, adjust the milling depth
(► Setting the milling depth – p. 36).
– Hold the device with both hands using the han-
dles provided.
– Now press the turn-on lock (8) and the On-Off
switch (9)
– Bring the switched on tool into the set immersion
depth as far as the depth stop and fix the tool
depth via the clamping lever (14) using the fingers
of your left hand.
– After the working process, loosen the clamping
lever (14) and switch off the device by releasing
the On-Off switch (9).
In case of large milling depths, you should perform
several working cycles, each with a low abrasion rate,
using the variable stop (5):
– Adjust to the smallest setting of the variable
stop (5). To do so, lift the router and place a piece
of residual wood underneath the milling cutter so
as not to touch the workpiece.
– Then start with one of the higher levels and work
down to the desired final depth.
Milling with copy ring
You can transfer contours from a template to your
workpiece.
The selection of the copy ring (20) depends on the
diameter of the milling cutter and the material thick-
ness of the template. Always choose a milling cutter
diameter that is smaller than the interior diameter of
the copy ring.

– Guide the switched-on router with the copy ring
along the template.
Milling with a router compass
With the router compass you have the possibility to
cut circular shapes.
Make sure that the tip of the router compass cuts
properly into the workpiece.

Disposal of the appliance

with household waste. They may contain
substances that are harmful to the environ-
ment and human health.
Consumers must dispose of waste electrical devices,
spent portable batteries and rechargeable batteries
separately from household waste at an official collec-
tion point to ensure that these items are processed
correctly. The product can be returned free of charge
in accordance with the legal requirements, for exam-
ple through a municipal waste disposal company or a
dealer.
Batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps
that are not permanently installed in waste
electrical equipment and can be removed in
a non-destructive way must be removed and
disposed of separately before disposal of the equip-
