Clamping the workpiece
► P. 4, fig. 3
CAUTION! Risk of injury! Special tools,
which ensure that the milling blades are
sharpened at the right angle and the right
depth, and that the cutters run without vibra-
tion at high speeds, are required for sharp-
ening milling cutters. Have the milling cutter
sharpened by a professional! Worn or
improperly sharpened milling cutters can
cause rebounds. Most severe injuries may
be the result!
CAUTION! Risk of burns! The tool may
still be hot on completion of the work. Allow
a hot tool to cool down. Never clean a hot
tool with flammable liquids.
CAUTION! Risk of injury (cuts from
sharp edges)! There is a danger of cutting
even with a stationary tool! Wear gloves
when changing the tool.
WARNING! Risk of injury! Only use
undamaged and clean milling cutters.
Only use milling cutters with a suitable shaft
diameter and milling cutter diameter.
Remove the extraction adapter (► P. 5,
fig. 6) if the milling cutter exceeds this diam-
eter

– Using the assembly wrench, loosen the nut from
the tool holder by turning in anti-clockwise direc-

WARNING! Risk of injury! Do not operate
the device without the protective glass.

due time, such that the best possible dust
absorption is maintained.
Mounting the router compass
► P. 6, fig. 8

– Push the router compass (19) onto one of the two
guide rods (15) and tighten its clamping bolt.
