Towbar Mainframe with international standard facing to ISO 3853 (BS AU114)

FITTING
1.
Remove bumper (remove mudguards then one vertical Torx head bolt each side). Remove interior trim.
2.
Using the lines inside the bumper as a guide, cut a slot 50mm wide to the top guide line, as shown.
3.
Remove bumper mounting brackets each side of the vehicle and knock out fixed studs.
4.
Re-assemble bumper brackets and towbar to car using 4 Bolts (D) and short Bushes (D1).
5.
Using towbar as a guide, drill one extra hole (D) on the left and two on the right. Attach using 3 Bolts (D) and long
Bushes (D2).
6.
Drill for central Bolts (E) and attach with large flat washers inside.
6.
Finally tighten all bolts, and replace bumper. (Take care not to mark the bumper or body as the lower bumper skirt is
eased over the faceplate.)
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
