Remove the protective shroud covering the sediment cup.

Remove the fuel sediment cup, screw and o-ring.
4.
Place a funnel into a fuel container and position the funnel opening
under the carburetor. The container must be able to hold the
amount of fuel in the fuel tank and fuel lines.
5.
Move the fuel valve to the ON position.
6.
Wait for the fuel to fully drain into the container.
7.
Switch the fuel valve to the OFF position.
8.
Remove and clean the funnel. Cap the fuel container and store is a
dry, dark location.
9.
Reassemble the sediment cup and o-ring.

Remember to check the o-ring seal when the engine is
refuelled. The ring may not be properly seated.
ENGINE OIL
NOTICE! Non-detergent and 2-stroke engine oils will
damage a 4-stroke engine and are not recommended.
1.
Check the oil level before each use with a cool engine that is level.
2.
Use 4-stroke motor oil that meets or exceeds the requirements for
the API (American Petroleum Institute) service classification (see
Specifications).
3.
Do not use special additives.
4.
SAE 10W-30 is recommended
for general, all-temperature use.
Other viscosities shown on the
chart may be used when the
average temperature in your area
is within the indicated range.
5.
Using 10W-30 oil when the
temperature is above 27°C (80°F)
may increase oil consumption .
Check the oil level more often.
