Remove from below the vehicle any protective sealant from the points of contact between the shell and the tow bar; then paint the
uncovered parts with rust preventer.
1.
Disassemble the rear bumper, its reinforcement and eliminate the supports welded screws M8 by cutting them.
2.
Disassemble the side panels and the bottom of the inner cladding luggage compartment.
3.
Place component "A" on the vehicle's rear chassis in correspondence to holes "1" and then fix.
4.
Drill with a bit of Ø12 mm in correspondence to holes "2" which can be found on component "A".
5.
From inside the luggage compartment place component "B" in correspondence to the just bored holes and drill with a bit of
Ø12 mm in correspondence to holes "3" and "4" and then fix interjecting from the outer side the wide washers on point "3".
6.
From inside the luggage compartment insert screws in correspondence to holes "4".
7.
Externally place components "C" as a support underneath the vehicle and fix in position "4".
8.
From underneath the vehicle drill with a bit of Ø12 mm in correspondence to holes "5" and "6" which can be found on
component "C".
9.
Fix screws only in position "5", interjecting the wide washers from inside the luggage compartment.
10.
From inside the luggage compartment place component "D" in correspondence to the just bored holes "6" and mark holes
"7" which can be found on the same.
11.
Remove plate "D", drill from below to above the marked points "7" using first a bit of Ø12 mm and then a bit of Ø18 mm only
on the luggage compartment's upper tinplate.
12.
Place components "E" within the spars, put back in place plate "D", insert screws "7", interject from underneath the vehicle
component "F" and then fix.
13.
Fix in position "6" component "D" with component "C" tightening together the vehicle's chassis.
14.
Tighten all bolts and nuts with a tightening torque as shown in the enclosed layout.
15.
Connect the wiring to the socket (usually given apart), following the car booklet's instructions "use and maintenance" as
shown in the enclosed wiring kit layout.
16.
Place the bumper's reinforcement inserting from behind the vehicle's shell, the new screws "8" supplied with the standard
equipment, interjecting the wide washers.
17.
In support of the bumper's reinforcement supports place sparers "H" and drawbeam "G" and then fix.
18.
Make a cut on the bumper as shown in the enclosed layout.
19.
Reassemble progressively the bottom, the side panels of the inner cladding of the luggage compartment and the rear
bumper.

Make sure that the tow bar is suitable for the vehicle before starting the installation. Verify also that the vehicle's towing
disposal quoted on the car registration is mentioned on the tow bar document. Otherwise ask for the appropriate office
(umbrarimorchi@umbrarimorchi.it) for explanations or updated documents.

For safety, all work involving tow bar installation must be undertaken by skilled technicians.
•
Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer's spares parts by qualified staff.
•
It is forbidden to make any modification or structural repair to the tow bar.
