How to...
1. Make a FoodSaver

1. Open lid and place roll into Roll Storage.
2. Lift up Roll Cutter Bar and place bag material
beneath the Cutter Bar. Pull bag material until to
edge it is on top of the sealing strip.
3. Close the lid and firmly press down with your palms
on both sides of the appliance lid to lock. All lights
will illuminate when lid is fully locked and ready to
operate.
Tip: You should feel and hear an audible click for
each side when pushing down with the palms of
your hands on the appliance lid, indicating the unit
is fully locked.
4. Press Seal Button.
5. When Seal Indicator Light stops flashing and
becomes constant, sealing is complete. Press Lid
Release Buttons to open lid.
6. Pull bag material out to desired length.
7. Slide Bag Cutter across Cutter Bar.
Now you are ready to vacuum seal with your new bag
(see next page).

1. Place item(s) in bag, allowing at least 3 inches
(7.62 cm) of space between bag contents and top
of bag.
2. Open appliance lid and place open end of bag into
Vacuum Channel (Drip Tray).
3. Close the lid and firmly press down with your palms
on both sides of the appliance lid to lock. All lights
will illuminate when lid is fully locked and ready to
operate.
Tip: You should feel and hear an audible click for
each side when pushing down with the palms of your
hands on the appliance lid, indicating the unit is
fully locked.
4. Press Mode button to select custom setting. Indicator
light will illuminate next to the custom setting that is
initiated. Dry Mode is the default setting.
5. Press Vac/Seal button to begin vacuum and sealing
process. Motor will continue to run until bag is fully
vacuumed, then will automatically seal.
TIP: If select Pulse Mode: press and hold the
Vac/Seal Button to manually control the vacuum
function. Press Seal Button when ready to seal bag.
6. When Seal Indicator Light stops flashing and
becomes constant, press Release Buttons on both
sides to open. Remove bag. Refrigerate, freeze or
store as needed. (See "Guidelines" for food storage
safety tips on pg 13.)
NOTE: Let appliance cool down for 20 seconds after
each use. Always store appliance in the Store position.
Important Tips:
To minimize waste do not insert too much. Only
insert bag over the edge of the Removeable Drip
Tray.
