Mains cord
If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service center authorized by
Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

- This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal household waste
(2012/19/EU) (Fig. 10).

Problem
The device does not switch
on.
The device makes a ticking
sound after disconnecting
the device from the wall
socket.
Possible cause
The plug is not inserted into the
wall socket properly.
The treatment time is not set.
There is a power failure.
The lamp is defective.
The mains cord is damaged.
The timer is not in the off
position.
Solution
Insert the plug in the wall socket
properly.
Select a treatment time by turning
the timer knob to the preferred
treatment time.
Connect another device to check if
the power supply works.
Contact the Philips Consumer Care
Center.
