5.2. PREPARING THE FILTER CARTRIDGE

The filter cartridge should be replaced after 4 weeks of use. Always keep spare filter cartridges on
hand for replacement.
Before inserting a new filter cartridge, clean the water tank and funnel ( CLEANING AND CARE).
1.
Remove the packaging from the filter cartridge (8). It is normal for the cartridge to be slightly
moist.
2.
Fill a water jug (or the water tank) with cold tap water, submerge the cartridge and gently
shake it from side to side a few times to remove any air bubbles or carbon particles. It is not
necessary to pre-soak the cartridge before use. Discard the water in the sink.
3.
Remove the funnel (6) from the water tank. Insert the filter cartridge (8) into the funnel and
push it firmly into place. Make sure the cartridge is level. When the cartridge is inserted
correctly, it should stay in place when the funnel is turned upside down.
4.
Insert the funnel (6) with filter cartridge (8) into the water tank (7). To rinse the cartridge, fill
the funnel with room temperature tap water and allow the water to filter. Discard the filtered
water in the sink. Repeat this step again and discard the filtered water.
5.
The filter cartridge is now ready for use.

Fill the water tank ( FILLING THE WATER TANK).

When it is time to change the filter cartridge, hold the top and pull the cartridge out of the
funnel.
8.
Repeat the steps above to install the new cartridge.
5.3. FILLING THE WATER TANK
Refill the water tank when it is low. The water tank can be filled with a water jug while it is attached
to the dispensing unit (main unit), or can be removed for filling.

Before filling the water tank (7), unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
2.
If you need to remove the water tank, hold both sides and lift the tank to remove it from the
main unit.
3.
Fill the funnel (6) with room temperature tap water. Let the water filter through the cartridge.
Repeat again if needed.
4.
Do not allow filtered water to exceed the MAX level marked on the water tank. It is not
necessary to keep the cartridge submerged in water.
5.
Close the lid (5).
5.4. ATTACHING THE DRIP TRAY
Place the magnetic drip tray (4) with the silicone cover (3) under the dispensing nozzle (2).
6. OPERATION
CAUTION: Hot or boiling water and steam. Risk of burns! Never operate your
water dispenser without placing a cup or suitable container under the dispensing
nozzle.
6.1. TURNING ON/OFF
1.
To turn the appliance on, plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet.
2.
To turn the appliance off, unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
