6.6. LOW/EMPTY WATER TANK ALERT

If the water tank is low or empty while the appliance is dispensing water, the appliance will
immediately cut off the power to the heater pipe and will start to pump water for 15 seconds. If
there is no water, the appliance will emit 5 buzzer alerts and stop. The control panel will display
the error code "E0".

Refill the water tank. After refilling, wait 15 seconds for the internal pipes to fill before using
the appliance.
7. CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING: Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and
allow it to cool down completely.
WARNING: To protect against electric shock or fire hazards, never immerse the
dispensing unit (main unit), power cord or plug in water or any liquid. Never rinse these
electrical parts under the tap.

IMPORTANT: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes,
sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the appliance or accessories.

It is recommended to change the filter every 1-2 months of using.
7.1. GENERAL CLEANING
1.
Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
2.
Remove the water tank and drip tray from the main unit.
3.
Clean the external surfaces of the main unit with a soft, moist cloth. Dry with a soft, dry cloth.
4.
Clean the water tank, funnel, lid, drip tray, and silicone cover in soapy water with a soft
sponge. Rinse and dry well. Reassemble the parts into the appliance.
5.
Replace the filter cartridge after 4 weeks of use.
IMPORTANT: If your appliance will not be used for an extended period of time (e.g. vacation,

business trip, etc.), unplug the appliance from the power outlet and empty the water tank.
7.2. DESCALING
Descale your appliance approximately once every 3 months to maintain efficient performance.
Descale the appliance in a shorter period if you live in a hard water area.
To prepare the descaling solution, you can use regular vinegar, pharmacy-bought citric acid, or a
commercially available citric acid-based cleaner for hot water dispensers.
Descaling process
1.
Remove the funnel and filter cartridge from the water tank.
2.
Fill the water tank with tap water up to the MAX level mark and close the lid.
3.
Set the dispensing temperature to 55 °C or 65 °C.
4.
Set the dispensing volume to 500 ml.
5.
Place a large enough container on the drip tray.
6.
Press the Start/Cancel button to dispense 500 ml water.
7.
Add the descaler into the dispensed water and mix well.
NOTE: Recommended amount of descaler (choose one): 25-30g citric acid / 1 cup vinegar / or
follow the instructions on the package of the citric acid-based descaler.
8.
Pour the descaling solution into the water tank, fill the rest of the tank with tap water up to
the MAX mark and close the lid.
9.
Place the empty container on the drip tray.
10.
Press the Start/Cancel button to dispense the descaling solution. Discard the solution in the
sink, and repeat this step until the water tank is empty.
11.
Remove the water tank, clean it thoroughly, fill it with tap water up to the MAX mark, and
replace it in the machine.
